Wire rope electric hoist is a kind of space transportation equipment, which can reduce labor intensity and improve labor productivity. It is widely used in chemical, metallurgical and mechanical manufacturing enterprises. The failure of the stopper will lead to many serious consequences. The following measures can be taken to prevent the failure of the stopper of the wire rope electric hoist:
1. It is strictly prohibited to pull and hang the rope guide askew, because the rope guide will be broken and damaged due to the lateral force of the rope guide.
2. The upper and lower limit of the fire stop shall be properly adjusted and fastened in place to prevent the high and low limit positions from changing due to looseness.
3. The fire cutoff limiter is correctly wired, with 5 lines in total. Phase B is a common line. The terminal near the push rod is connected to the AC phase of the rising contactor, and the other side is connected to the AC phase line of the falling contactor. If this position is reversed, when the rising limit push rod contacts the fire cutoff limiter, the electric hoist can still rise but not go down. On the contrary, when the falling limit push rod contacts the fire cutoff limiter, the electric hoist can still fall but not go up.
4. Regularly check the safety parts of the hoisting equipment, and timely handle any abnormality found, so as to eliminate the hidden trouble in the bud.
5. In view of the cost, the control ring of the wire rope electric hoist is improved and the main power contactor is added. There was no main power contactor in the control box of the electric hoist before, and the emergency stop switch of the control handle only cut off the control power, which did not protect the contactor from sticking. After adding the main power contactor, use the emergency stop switch on the control handle to control its on-off, which can effectively prevent accidents caused by the failure of the lifting contactor to disconnect.
6. The rated current of the cut-off limiter must be greater than the working current of the electric hoist, at least 1.5 times of the working current.
